Phil and Peggy Janofski are serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators at the Jaars Center near Waxhaw, NC. Phil and Peggy have two daughters, Ashley Elizabeth Janofski born November 5, 1989; and Brittany Lynn Janofski, born July 20, 1993.
Phil writes:
"My position is Leadership Training Associate, and I am working to develop and present leadership and management training materials to missionaries who come through the Center here in Waxhaw, and also overseas as fields call for our services to their leadership at their locations. I will likely be presenting overseas 2-3 times a year.
Many leaders and managers in Wycliffe came up through the ranks, or were put into the slot since "somebody had to do it", but have little or no management training. This can leave them frustrated, and can frustrate and negatively affect those under them. Our department trains with the goal of finding an individual's strengths and making sure they are serving in a capacity and team structure that will maximize their productivity and reinforce their personal value in their work. Perhaps if we do our job well, the Counseling Department won't have to do theirs!"
